Porto Seguro has many beaches, inserted in a wonderful coastal cave. There is a lot to do at the area. Outside Porto Seguro is nice to visit Santa Cruz Cabrália and go for a delicious dip at the beaches of Mutá and Coroa Vermelha. It is on this last beach that the cross paying homage to the first mass celebrated in Brazil is found. At the place there is a great variety of Indian artcraft and pharmacology for sale.

A good thing to do is go to Arraial d’Ajuda, crossing the Buranhém river with the ferry, and visit the stunning beaches framed by cliffs, the colorful and narrow streets, enjoy some regional snacks and keep on until the quiet village of Trancoso, a charming place where the houses are distributed around a square named Quadrado and life seems to run at a slower pace.

Another unforgettable tour is to the Coral Reef, a large underwater formation that allows fantastic scuba diving points. There are some coral structures only found at this area and at the deeper spots, it is required a more specific equipment.

At the city, the main attraction at night is the Passarela do Álcool, a street that concentrates at the sidewalk many bars, restaurants and boutiques, attended by tourist from everywhere. Later, you just have to come back to the comfort of the Portobello Resort and earn a deserved night of sleep.
